HEAT TRANSFER VINYL

Heat transfer vinyl is used within our shop for highly customized per-piece orders. This is used the most when decorating jerseys or team gear where individual names and numbers are required for each piece. We recommend this type of printing if our customer only needs 1-2 items with custom printing.

DYE SUBLIMATION PRINTING

Sublimation printing is the newest type of printing! It is growing fast in popularity. Our dye-sublimation printing processes offer picture-quality printing on a range of apparel and promotional products. This process is unique in that it actually dyes the product surface with a full-color image. (Traditional printing causes the print to sit on top of the surface.) This ensures a print that will not fade, crack or peel over time and can be washed with confidence.

What artwork do I need?

There are two artwork types: Raster images and Vector images. Printing quality graphics requires high-quality or high-resolution artwork. We recommend providing us with vector artwork that is created in a vector software program like Illustrator or Corel Draw. If you are unable to get this file type you can also provide us with a high-quality raster image with a minimum DPI resolution of 300. What is digitizing for embroidery?

Digitizing for embroidery is the manual creation of stitches for a logo or artwork. A sew file is created that a computerized embroidery machine reads and stitches out. The word digitize implies that artwork is somehow automatically turned into stitches and then loaded onto an embroidery machine, but this is far from the truth. People are also under the false impression that digitizing has to do with saving your file in a digital format or getting your logo or artwork vectorized, but this is not true.

We have staff who are highly experienced digitizers. They have the experience needed to create a quality embroidery file. Digitizing take years of hands-on practice to master and because of the number of variables in embroidering various materials with different stitch techniques, there are always new things to learn.

Some common problems that are often seen with logos that are digitized by inexperienced digitizers are wavy or curling embroidery, unreadable text (especially small text), unwanted space between embroidery sections, or fabric showing through embroidery.
